Teetotaler Essentials Refund & Return Policy

At Teetotaler Essentials, your experience with our handcrafted botanical soaps, solid hydration bars, bath soaks, body polishes, and linen mists is our top priority. Because we formulate small-batch personal care goods, our return policy balances customer protection with strict hygiene and safety standards.

1. Opened or Used Personal Care Items (Final Sale)

  • For sanitary, health, and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on any personal care items that have been opened, unsealed, or used.

2. Unopened & Unused Items (14-Day Return Window)

  • If you change your mind about an order, unopened and unused items in their original, undamaged packaging are eligible for return within 14 calendar days of the delivery date.

  • How to Initiate a Return: Email us at teetotaleressentials@gmail.com with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return before mailing your package back.

  • Return Shipping Address: Teetotaler Essentials, 5119D Lawndale Drive, Greensboro, NC 27455, United States.

  • Return Shipping Costs: For buyer's-remorse returns of unopened items, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping charges ($4.50 or $8.50) are non-refundable.

3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders (7-Day Make-It-Right Guarantee)

  • We inspect every batch by hand before packing. If your order arrives damaged in transit, defective, or incorrect, please email us at teetotaleressentials@gmail.com within 7 calendar days of delivery.

  • Please include your order number and a clear photo of the damaged item and shipping box/mailer.

  • For verified damaged, defective, or incorrect items, Teetotaler Essentials will ship a free replacement or issue a 100% full refund (including original shipping costs) at no expense to you.

4. Exchanges

  • We do not process direct exchanges on opened items. If you would like to exchange an unopened, unused item within 14 days of delivery, please contact teetotaleressentials@gmail.com to authorize a return and place a new order for your preferred item.

5. Refund Processing Timeline

  • Once your return (or damaged-item claim) is received and approved, we will send you an email notification.

  • Approved refunds are automatically issued back to your original payment method (credit/debit card, Shop Pay, or Affirm installments) within 5 to 7 business days. Please allow an additional 2 to 3 business days for your bank or credit card issuer to post the credit to your statement.
